Landon Cook
Landon Cook is an 18-year-old, Two-time World Champion angler from western Pennsylvania, who is currently on Youth Fly Fishing Team USA. In his free time, Landon enjoys spending time with his father and friends on small limestone streams chasing wild Pennsylvania brown trout but obviously loves the good ole pellet pigs on his two weight. As a competition angler, Landon travels all over the country competing (and learning) in various competitions with some of the best anglers in the nation. Some states he has fished in include Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia, and more! After surpassing their dominant performance last year in the Czech Republic he, along with five other teammates have been crowned World Champions twice now receiving gold medals in representation of the United States.
In July, because of the efforts of many, he was able to follow his dream of competing in a world championship yet again for the 22nd Youth Fly Fishing World Championship which took place in Idaho Falls. After practicing on the venues for seven days, he created lifelong friendships and bonds that he believes will last a lifetime. It is because of this strong companionship that he believes they excelled to the top of the leaderboard after the first day with six placing points (never been done before) and never wavered in the face of competition becoming the most dominant team in the history of competition angling.
